  • 1997 - 2001


    Gordon Stollery launches Kylemore Communities with Patrick O’Hanlon and Frank Spaziani. Their joint vision is to offer homeowners the highest standards in architectural design, craftsmanship and community amenities.


    Kylemore celebrates the new millennium by winning the Best Architectural Design Award from the Greater Toronto Home Builders Association.

    2007 - 2010


    Following the principles of new urbanism, the West Village is launched in the Angus Glen Community. The first release of homes is received with enthusiasm.

    Kylemore releases 75’ and 100’ custom home division in West Village.

    First annual Kylemore Kares Golf Tournament.

    Top golfers from around the world return to Markham when Angus Glen Golf Club hosts the Canadian Open for a second time, this tim


    Kylemore brings its superb design to The Port of Newcastle on Lake Ontario’s waterfront, where Cape Cod-style homes prove very popular.

    Located near historic Unionville and adjacent to York Downs Golf & Country Club, The New Yorkton enclave neighbourhood of deluxe 45-foot homes And rear lane executive townhomes is launched.


    To serve the diverse needs of a growing community, The Angus Glen Community Centre is built. The centre features a library, two NHL-size hockey arenas, swimming pools, a double gymnasium and a community hall.


    Kylemore along with Jane Lockart Interior Design wins Best Model Home of the Year Award from the Building Industry & Land Development Asscociation for The Tully Model Home, in West Village.

    2011 - 2012


    Gordon Stollery commits $5 million to Markham Stouffville Hospital as a ‘Thank You’ to the community that has so generously supported both Kylemore Communities and Angus Glen Golf Club.

    Gordon Stollery commits $1 million to the University of Toronto.

    Gordon Stollery passes suddenly leaving his seven adult children, all daughters, to continue the family legacy. Lindsay Stollery Jephcott joins Cailey Stollery in overseeing the Kylemore and Angus Glen companies. Launch of The 6th, Markham’s only golf course condominium and the first condominium to be offered in Angus Glen Community.


    Gordon Stollery is honoured posthumously with the Anthony Roman Award, named for former Mayor of Markham and Member of Parliament. Kylemore along with Mike Niven Interior Design, win Best Suite Design for The 6th at the 32nd annual BILD Awards.

    Continuing a successful partnership with Jane Lockhart Interior Design Inc., Kylemore releases a new selection of custom lots showcasing another model designed by Jane. Inc.

  • 2013 - 2014


    In November 2013, Kylemore celebrates the start of construction for The 6th.

    Angus Glen Community captures the pinnacle Places to Grow Community of the Year - Low-rise distinction at the 33rd BILD industry awards. This coveted award recognizes the community that represents the best example of smart growth, environmental preservation, innovative site planning, recreational amenities, streetscapes and architecture.

    The release of the final selection of detached homes in Parkside East, in established East Village. Opening of two Model Homes - The Oakley and The Riley.


    Kylemore Communities is the proud recipient of the Markham Design Excellence Award for Angus Glen Community. These prestigious competition-based awards, which recognize and promote excellence in urban design, are presented every four years.

    Stollery Estates opens with 26 lots in a private enclave setting beside the original farmhouse of Arthur Stollery and overlooking the Angus Glen Golf Club in the West Village.

    The opening of the Peyton Custom Model Home with Jane Lockhart Interior Design Inc. includes 5,300 sq.ft. of spectacular furnished space.

    Kylemore opens newly renovated Dublin model home to showcase upgraded finishes available to homeowners.

    Supported solely by the company’s loyal trades, consultants and partners, Kylemore Kares Annual Charity Golf Tournament brings the 7 year total funds raised to almost $1 million. Funds are donated to a variety of charities and nonprofit organizations throughout the year.

    2015 - 2016


    Blackstock Bridge is named in honour of Frank Blackstock Stollery, Arthur’s father and Gordon’s Grandfather. This completes the connection of the East and West Village of the Angus Glen Community.

    Kylemore moves its corporate headquarters to The Shoppes of Angus Glen.

    Following in her father’s footsteps of hosting major golf tournaments, Cailey Stollery winsthe bid for the Pan Am Games. The first time in 100 years that golf is showcased in the Pan Am Games.

    Kennedy Manors launches with 132 town manors overlooking York Downs Golf & Country Club. Within 10 days of opening, 90 percent of the homes were sold.

    Kylemore builds a new Presentation Centre in the prominent location of Kennedy Road and Major MacKenzie Drive.

    To more closely reflect the company’s many future new home communities, a brand refresh is undertaken.

    Future projects will include the redevelopment of York Downs Golf & Country Club, neighbourhoods in the North Lands of Angus Glen, and Langstaff Gateway in York Region.


    Purchasers move into The 6th, Building A in the spring of 2016 to experience Markham’s only boutique golf course condominium.

    Kylemore is a finalist for three 2016 OHBA Awards of Distinction and wins two Awards for Best New Home Sales Office and Best Interior Decorating Model Home/Suite.

    Kylemore and Mike Niven Interior Design receive the Association of Registered Interior Designers of Ontario (ARIDO) Award of Merit for the Presentation Centre and The 6th Model Suite.

    Kylemore introduces Brownstones, Angus Glen’s most private enclave, featuring striking architecture and deluxe finishes. Kylemore’s track record of building homes that appreciate spurs another overwhelming success. Only 20 town manors remain following initial sales launch.

    The Shoppes of Angus Glen, which offers premium dining, banking and conveniences are now fully leased. The Montessori School occupies a heritage building that blends seamlessly with the modern plaza. That school brings Kylemore full circle; the old school house was once the office of Arthur Stollery, where the future of the Angus Glen community began.

2017 is a milestone year for Kylemore Communities celebrating 20 years of building superior master-planned communities and timeless quality homes.
