Now in its seventh year, the annual golf tournament is hosted by the award-winning homebuilder and attended by a range of supporters that include owners and employees of Kylemore’s loyal trades and consultants. Over the past seven years, close to $1 million dollars has been raised which goes directly to charities

A change to the timing of this year’s event had golfers enjoying a hearty breakfast before teeing off at 8:00 am. A glorious day was followed by lunch and musical entertainment, the awarding of some terrific prizes and the personal thanks from Kylemore’s President Patrick O’Hanlon. Special guests Debra Cooper Burger, President & CEO of Unionville Homes Society and Attilio Lio, Zodiac Developments, speaking on behalf of York Region Children’s Aid Foundation, each shared their heartfelt appreciation for the funds their charities receive.

Post-golf festivities take place on the patio at Angus Glen Golf Club.

Kylemore Kares is the name used by the company to make its many contributions to charity each year through sponsorships and donations. “Everything we raise goes right back to the community,” says Patrick O’Hanlon. “We believe in giving back to our universities, hospitals, as well as smaller community-based organizations and individuals who need our help.”
